Welcome to Heartfelt Pediatrics

About Our Unique Pediatric Practice
Welcome to Heartfelt Pediatrics, where we believe that every child should have access to compassionate and accessible healthcare. We strive to deliver high-quality medical services to you and your family from the comfort of your home through telehealth (video consultations) and house calls in Oregon.
For families in Bend, Oregon, following the video visit, if the provider and caregiver feel that the child needs to be seen in-person, an in-home visit will be scheduled that day.
Heartfelt Pediatrics is here to bridge the gap with your child's primary care provider (PCP) and attempt to reduce the need for emergency room visits. In more rural areas in Oregon, not only are there limited options for pediatric specific primary care, after-hours care might be over an hour away.
We are not here to replace your child's PCP. However, after-hours (morning or night), or on the weekends, seem to be the time when the earache you've been hoping will resolve turns into a fever and much discomfort. That's where Heartfelt Pediatrics comes in.
We look forward to meeting you and your family!
We are here for all families
Heartfelt Pediatrics values and respects the unique differences of each child and family. We offer non-judgmental and comprehensive care that is culturally sensitive and embraces people of different backgrounds, languages, abilities, finances, etc.
While the providers at Heartfelt Pediatrics do not speak Spanish or another language, we are fortunate to work with a local interpretation service that offers personalized care for each family. Even if the kiddos speak English, we feel that it is important for parents to have care provided in their native language.
We work closely with your child's PCP to ensure continuity of care. This is especially important when your child has special needs or a chronic illness.
Heartfelt Pediatrics recognizes that not all disabilites or illnesses are visable. Here in Oregon, we rank as one of the highest states for mental health conditions without access to care. In fact, we rank 42nd in the U.S. for depressive episodes not getting care. Click here for more info.
While youth in Oregon struggle to access mental health care, there are great services like, YouthLine. It is a free and anonymous line for teens to text or call to discuss anything from relationships, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and more.
We also encourage establishing with a primary care provider, yet we recognize this is not always possible. Heartfelt Pediatrics provides care to some of our most vulnerable populations, like teens in rural communities. When needed, a referral will be placed for higher level care, like a psychiatrist or other mental health professionals.
